Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress who was born the 3rd of October, 1983 in Los Angeles. Thompson is the daughter of Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) and granddaughter Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. Thompson was born in Los Angeles and raised there prior to moving to Brooklyn. She's of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian descent. Thompson went to Santa Monica High School, where she was featured in numerous productions of the theatre. She enrolled in Santa Monica College after graduation and obtained a cultural anthropology degree. At Pasadena's Boston Court Theatre, she appeared as Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet".
